Steve Valenta | President
In 1987, after working for several office equipment companies, Steve was unhappy with the limitations that these companies put on his ability to provide good customer service. He decided the only way he could provide clients with the best possible customer service would be through establishing his own business. He needed to find a product line to sell, so he bought a Canon dealership in Waynesboro which gave him the ability to sell and service Canon products. Soon after Offix was born in Northern VA.
Years later, Offix continually gets client referrals because of the excellent customer service it provides. Its team members provide quality service to all clients, whether they are single-person businesses, churches, non-profits, the Federal government, or commercial businesses.
With over 33 years in the industry, Stephen Valenta has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to all types of office technology.
Kim Valenta | Vice President
In 2003, Offix was quickly growing and needing extra help. Kim started coming into the office to help her husband Steve. Steve decided that she was such a great help that he hired her full-time.
Before starting at Offix, Kim was managing several major contracts for a large government contractor. In addition, she had gained financial experience as a controller for another company, where she dealt with pricing, and cost-analyses. She brings over 30 years of solid business experience to Offix.
Kim knows that the best part of working at Offix is the family environment, “We like to stay regimented and follow rules, but when it comes to employees, we always want to take care of them. I believe that’s why we have very little employee turnover. The employees are comfortable here, and they know that we care about them.”
Mitch Riehle | Executive Vice President
A Chicago native, Mitch left after high school to attend the United States Military Academy at West Point, N.Y. After a 10 year career as an Infantry Officer and Army Ranger, Mitch left the Army and joined ComDoc working in the Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and New York area.
Throughout his 27 years at ComDoc/Xerox, Mitch held positions as a sales rep, major account rep, sales manager, branch manager, business development manager, director of learning and development, and vice president of sales.
Offix’s reputation is outstanding and the opportunity to work at a leading provider of technology, who is a local, growing Company with an outstanding team was perfect for Mitch and his family.
Matteo Recanatini | Director of Marketing
Born and raised in Italy, but with deep professional roots in the United States, Matteo has cut his marketing teeth in companies with international reach, including Mediaset Group in Europe, and Beretta in North America, where he has covered the gamut of roles, ranging between marketing analyst and director of marketing for B2B, B2C and Government divisions.
He has developed award-winning programs that have resulted in accolades by publications that include The New York Times and AdAge.

Matteo brings almost three decades of strategic and operational marketing experience to Offix, with a focus on customer journey and experience, digital marketing and sales process engineering.
Ron Robey | Vice President of Service
With over 25 years in the copier and fax service industry, Ron Robey was the perfect fit for the Offix Vice President of Service position. Ron manages a team of fourteen service technicians. “I’m responsible for their daily activities and making sure that Offix supplies its customers with 100% customer satisfaction,” he comments. In addition, he makes sure his team is up to date with the latest training for the industry’s new hardware and software products.
Ron is enthusiastic about his service team, saying “We have a great service team that works on everything from the fax line all the way up to the 105 page-per-minute copy machines, plus a full line of color equipment.” Ron is a firm believer in leading by example, “There’s not a single thing on a daily basis that I ask my guys to do that I won’t do myself.”
Stephan Perkins | Sales Manager – Norfolk
As a “Navy Brat”, Stephan has had the privilege of being born in Spain and subsequently growing up in many different regions of the US. After attending Old Dominion University in Norfolk, he immediately began a role as a Sales Manager at Terminix where he led a sales team that nearly tripled their revenue numbers. After accepting an offer at OfficeMax as a Major Account Manager, he quickly rose to become the #1 Commercial Sales Representative in the company and was ultimately offered a position in management where he continued to thrive.
With over 20 years B2B sales experience, Stephan enjoys what does and considers it an honor to be able to collaboratively work to solve the business/technology needs for his team’s clients. His favorite phrase comes from Mark Twain…”The secret to getting ahead is getting started.” In his spare time, he loves to travel, play golf, and run on the boardwalk with his favorite four-legged friend, his Weimaraner puppy named Charlotte.
Caitlyn Valenta | Sales Manager – Gainesville
After receiving a degree in business administration from the College of Charleston, Caitlyn followed her parents’ footsteps into the office equipment industry. She is a strong advocate for her clients and is passionate about providing the highest level of customer service.
She currently leads the Northern Virginia sales team.
